One of the main reasons that I continue to use Twitter despite certain *hand wave* changes made to the service in the past year is the game development community. Before I joined the industry, I did not realize that it was so present on Twitter. Once I did, I learned it was not only a vibrant and active community, but also an extremeley helpful one.
So many people share advice and resources - tutorials, wikis, presentations - all of this wealth of knowledge and for free. I was worried about losing it all on my feed so I began bookmarking it on Twitter. Then it dawned on me that these should be kept in a public place so I made a Twitter thread. And most recently, I realized Twitter could very well break one day, either threads or the bookmarks feature (or the whole platform, really).
This blog post is an attempt to capture all of that wealth of knowledge in one (hopefully stable) location. I may come back and add more resources as I find them, but no promises for now. :)
